Burwood Station

This was a TNSW initiative to upgrade the facade and entries to Burwood Station. The three existing railway bridges make a distinctive and dramatic space. To work with their visual weight and framing of the station entries, the 3 new tiled walls were laid out to echo their heavy cast shadows. The new angles light and dark add to the dynamic of the entry portals. A range of greens recalls the landscape of the nearby Burwood Park and compliments the new Orange T of TNSW.The Fibonacci Sequence is used to rationalise and proportion the layout of tones, from black, to the 3 gradating greens.
