Tunnel of love

The TUNNEL OF LOVE was an artistic proposition developed concurrently with the Llankelly Place Lights. Conceived as an ode to the strip clubs of the Darlinghurst Road to the front, it was to act as a portal for the theatre of the square + a threshold for the urbane apartments of Springfield Avenue behind. A "Pinkness" emanated from the slow subtle shift of lights around the form of the portal which, in warm weather was dissipated thru the space via mist.
