Stray cats, tom cats and cool cats need worry no more, as the Cat Protection Society of NSW now has a new home. Located in the heart of hip-dom, along Marrickville Road, this new 2 level infill, adapted and extended an historic 19th Century shop front from street front to rear lane to accommodate new retail and commercial premises.
A new central courtyard, bridged by a “bridge”, bifurcates the built form, providing light and air to both front and rear volumes.
The rear laneway facade has been constructed and codified, to let the local cats know, their new home is here.
