E.S Marks Athletics Field

This urban design project for Centennial Parklands is about updating and upgrading the popularly patronised Atheltics Facilities of  this park to improve amenity and safety.

Civil, traffic, and structural engineered works to remove the large concrete bleacher seating, provide additional car and busparking, a new entry drive, storage shed and a ticket booth pavilion have all needed to be coordinated.

The existing graphic geometry of the track has been borrowed as a set out for all the primary elements, from carpark spaces to ticket booth awning, thus creating a unity and harmony to the park as a whole.
